I’ve just spent a while going through a blog new to me.
Classic Film Freak ( at http://classicfilmfreak.com) has been posting on Hollywood films of the 1930s,40s and 50s since 2008.
I like the web site’s description:
“We will mention CITIZEN KANE and GONE WITH THE WIND from time to time, but we are more likely to mention George Sanders,Hedy Lamarr or say Bette Davis…..”
So many classic films reviewed and all done in great detail with lots of picture illustrations.
Just glancing through some of the articles in 2015, I see DODGE CITY,THE CAINE MUTINY,BLACK ANGEL,THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE, THE GORGEOUS HUSSY and a rare 1933 film,GOODBYE AGAIN with Warren William and Joan Blondell.
Articles are posted several times a month and the latest one I have read from May 2015 is an informative look at WHERE DANGER LIVES, with Robert Mitchum ,Faith Domergue and Claude Rains.
And the Classic Film Freak calls himself Orson de Welles.
Dear Mr de Welles, you have a new follower!
